Why Give to United Way?
If you’re looking for an easy way to improve the lives of those who need help, United Way of San Diego County is a great way to invest. Thanks to the tens of thousands of area residents who already contribute each year to the United Way/CHAD Campaign, we’re creating solutions to some of our region’s most serious challenges.
United Way studied what community issues matter most to the region’s residents and is leading collaborative efforts to find the underlying causes of these critical problems. Working with experts, United Way is creating innovative new services that lead to lasting change in our community and measurable results that will be reported back to you as a donor.
Over the past two years, United Way has moved to a Community Impact model that increases the impact of donor contributions by focusing on solving three specific and major problems in our region: Homeless Outreach and Prevention, Stopping Child Abuse and Neglect, and Promoting Financial Independence and Stability.
