We know that family stability is the foundation for all academic success; that’s why education is front and center so we can support young learners and their families on their way to
later success in school and life. Our current emphasis is on readiness for kindergarten, early grade literacy and college & career readiness with a foundation of family stability.
United Way is supporting family stability by providing additional staff and supports at school sites. This way, we can serve families where they are, better assess and understand their needs,
and facilitate accesss to resources in a more streamlined way. When you stabilize families, students are able to arrive at school ready to learn.
