United Way’s Approach
The mission of our organization can be surmised in one sentence: “United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good.” Ambitious? Yes. Doable? Only if we work together.
In order to truly improve and foster growth in our community, United Way has chosen to adopt a new method of problem solving called collective impact. This method requires the commitment of a group of important actors from various sectors to come together to form a common agenda and goal.
