The City Heights Partnership for Children celebrated their progress at a special celebration on May 28 at Monroe Clark Middle school. Superintendent Cindy Marten spoke to partners, community leaders, educators, students and supporters about the partnership’s good report card but cautioned that more work needs to be done.
“We need your help to make sure that our children are safe, healthy, cared for, and have a solid foundation for learning. If you do your part, we can do ours and give them the best teaching and learning experience possible.”
“Partnership of the Year” awards were given to outstanding community members working to make sure local youth get the support they need to succeed. Thanks to our Director of Partnerships and Partnership Administrator for coordinating this great celebration! If you would like to help give children a great start in education, Get involved.
