Workplace Giving

Change  Tomorrow, Give  Today!

Workplace Giving
Workplace giving is the backbone of the United Way/CHAD Campaign. Tens of thousands of San Diego County residents use this form of giving to make a difference in their community by donating millions of dollars to improve the lives of their neighbors in need.

More than 1,000 area and companies hold workplace giving campaigns each year to raise money for the United Way/CHAD Campaign. These campaigns, which can run anywhere from a week to more than a month, allow companies to offer their employees a once-a-year opportunity to give back to their community.

And now, with United Way moving to a Community Impact model, employees can have a real impact on solving three of our community’s most urgent problems.

United Way has brought together groups of experts, called Vision Councils, to create strategic plans that develop and implement solutions for three of the issues that matter most to San Diegans:

  • Stopping Child Abuse & Neglect
  • Promoting Financial Stability and Independence
  • Homeless Outreach and Prevention
