Community-Wide Action
In partnership with United Way of San Diego County, San Diego Gives hosted an inaugural Day of Service on Friday, September 8th, 2023!
The San Diego Gives Day of Service called upon corporate partners and community members to join together on one day to make a positive impact on our community, supporting local nonprofits working to address our region’s most pressing issues.
In total, 400 community members rolled up their sleeves and gave their time and talents to help 29 nonprofits county-wide fill backpacks with school supplies, pack food and organize food pantries, assemble hygiene kits, clean animal sanctuaries, beautify community spaces, and more!
