Read Across America Celebration
Read Across America Celebration
During the week of March 2, United Way will host our annual Read Across America Celebration. Each year, companies and individuals from across San Diego County come out to read with local students to promote literacy and celebrate the fun and value of reading during the week of Dr. Seuss's Birthday! This year, in conjunction with our Centennial Celebration United Way is also introducing a region-wide donation drive to collect books for children in our area. Donate NEW children's books to our drop-off locations at Warwick's in La Jolla, any SDCCU branch, or our offices in Kearny Mesa.
